I started following you, years ago on both my business and personal IGs, can’t even remember how.
I saw you posting about the podcast and thought I would give it a listen and then found my way to this group. Some of them I have listened to 2-3x and replay on my drive to my weddings; I have a few favorites.
This isn’t just a job for you, it’s not about the money or the clout. You truly embrace these “strangers” (couples) until they are, essentially, your chosen family. I think there’s a lesson in that for all of us.
This year has been really difficult, for me. From the reschedules and shooting almost 60 weddings (alone, it’s just me) and personal challenges…this is the only group that encourages people to appreciate the gift we have and to keep on even when it’s hard for us.
There’s no judgement, there’s no bashing. It’s just good people coming together talking about what they love and how to be better at it.
I’ve messaged you a few times and you’ve always replied. You’re a complete stranger and I feel so comfortable to reach out with my challenges! It’s crazy how the internet and social media can work to do so much good. I think that’s a key takeaway…for the world!
