Taking time to tell the untold stories. Leaning into the power of photography with special guest Petronella Lugemwa.

Imagine being a photographer with such an incredible passion for storytelling that you can't help but cry simply at the thought of it. We live in an age where we are literally rewriting the stories that have been told to us for generations with the truth while simultaneously taking on the challenge of being the voice for people who may not have one on their own.

Whether we're wedding photographers, war photographers, documentary photographers, or even portrait photographers the images that we capture and the heart behind them matter more now than perhaps ever before because of the remarkable opportunity we have using our images to share truth.

Petronella is a New York based wedding photographer with a love for multicultural, interracial, authentic story. Her photos and her artistic process are focused on authentic beauty but what makes her special isn't simply her creativity but her story. Being a first generation immigrant to the United States her story involves learning to embrace the culture she left behind to come to the United States and realizing how critical it is to see the beauty in the differences of the people around her.

Petronella is a Fujifilm Creator, a Rangefinder Rising 30, an award winning and articulate educator and as you'll hear a deeply emotional and creative soul.
