Photographers : You Don't Need Social Media || PCP18

I'm flying solo this week with a big topic on my mind. What does marketing look like without social media? If we abandon the desire for likes and follows what are we left with? How many of our businesses are inadvertently tied, or worse leveraged against Meta, or TikTok, or some other company that consistently puts their business interests ahead of ours? The truth is that the first step to longevity in business is making sure that we are future proofing our value while also evolving marketing strategies. So this episode is an intentional look into five simple tactics we can implement in our wedding and portrait photography businesses that will not only allow us to rely less on social media but will allow the places where we do utilize social media to penetrate more intentionally into a demographic of people who are more likely to respond.

Photographers - You Don't Need Social Media. You Don't Need Watermarks. You Don't Need the constant affirmation of the masses to validate you as an artist. But - what you do need... Community and clients. This episode is all about realigning us to how we are showing up for our businesses in more tangible, relationship oriented ways.
