WHO DO WE WANT?  WHERE DO WE WANT THEM TO TAKE US?  WHAT IS OUR VALUE?

  1. Who we want is a reflection of who we ARE from a branding perspective.
    1. We often settle by default for the clients who either understand who we are or are ok with what we're not.
    2. We tend to forget that every client experience has the opportunity to spread to a similar client
    BAD CLIENTS BREED BAD CLIENTS
  2. Where we let our clients take us is either a calculated or coincidental result of us being proactive or reactive.
    1. REACTIVE : we allow our clients to define our time, our work, our goals. We document the day without provoking action, altering light, creating moments, assisting, interrupting. This is the "fly on the wall" concept which is perhaps the fastest way to be forgotten as a brand.
      1. Basic concept : If nobody ever knew you were there, nobody will ever know you were there. Your work will never make up for a non-impression.
    2. PROACTIVE : we educate our clients on the brand and where we are going. We encourage them to take ownership in that brand and get excited to be a part of it. We allow them the space and teach them how to share, talk, and spread our name within the context of our brand. We assist, create, and react to every element of the wedding day as if we're helping to write the story. We never interrupt but often provoke emotion to keep momentum in the storyline. We train our clients to understand what they should value in us, what sets our work apart, and quite literally what is good and bad photography from our perspective.
