Connection Kristen + Luke

“There’s no such thing as being too Southern.”
— Lewis Grizzard

There's about half of this amazing shoot that I can't share. Actually - a few of my favorite engagement photos of all time are locked away on an online gallery for only these two to share. And even though I love when I get to show off my favorite photos - there's also something kind of neat about knowing that a few of these moments will be private forever. Kristen and Luke are amazing together and this shoot showed that in every way. From the very first moments together in the stadium where Luke spent 4 years of his life in a red jersey to the last few seconds under that icey waterfall I was in awe.

Technology is a pretty incredible thing these days. This was the first shoot we decided we could live stream to the world via Persicope and the reaction was amazing. Photographers logging in from all over the place along side friends of ours, both Kristen and Luke's mom's and even our friends at Lowepro jumped in to join the fun and interact during this session. The photos of course are wonderful but I can't take any credit for that really. The love that these two have for each other is so infectious that I just pressed the button and smiled a lot.

I absolutely hate that I'll be missing their New Orleans wedding but am so grateful for the chance to be a part of these moments with them. Two of the sweetest, most in love, most southern people I've had the chance to work with and I couldn't have had more fun. (Even found out some neat tidbits about Gumbo from Luke). THANK YOU BOTH for having us along on this adventure!
