WHere photographers go to build legacy and lasting connection

PhotoCo is built for photographers who are ready for education that feels different. Not more formulas. Not more checklists. Not more content that tells you exactly what to do next and expects you to figure it out from there. This is for the photographer who is realizing that information is not the problem anymore. Perspective is.

Most photography education is instruction. Do this. Post that. Charge this. Shoot like that. And it can work for a while, but it only takes you so far. Because at some point you do not need another system handed to you. You need a different way of thinking about your work, your clients, and the business you are actually trying to build.

Somewhere at the intersection of your values, your artistry, your experience, and the life you're trying to build is your way of doing things.

That's what we're here to help you uncover. Because the best businesses aren't built by following someone else's blueprint. They're built by thinking deeply enough to create your own.

It’s time for education that feels different

  • You're done collecting formulas. The photography industry isn't lacking strategies or checklists. It's lacking perspective. What you really need isn't another person telling you what to do. You need someone who helps you see your business differently, ask better questions, and understand the thinking behind the decisions that actually move the needle.

  • You're craving education that goes deeper than the highlight reel. The kind that pulls back the curtain, shares the successes and the failures, and isn't afraid to say, "Here's what actually happened, and here's why." No gatekeeping.

  • You don't want to build someone else's version of success. You want to develop the confidence to think for yourself. To challenge conventional wisdom, explore new ideas, and create a business that's shaped around your strengths, your values, and the life you actually want to live.

  • You know growth doesn't happen in isolation. You want to be surrounded by people who ask thoughtful questions, challenge your assumptions, celebrate your wins, and remind you that you're not figuring this out alone. Because the best ideas rarely come from watching another video. They come from being part of conversations that change the way you think.

DO ANY OF THESE SCENARIOS HIT HOME?

OK, BUT WHO ARE WE?

Miles WITT BOYER with a hat sitting on a wooden bench in front of a black backdrop, smiling at the camera.

MILES WITT BOYER

Hey, I’m Miles—a photographer, storyteller, and pretty reluctant educator, if I’m being honest. I’ve spent the last 15+ years building a business centered on photographing couples who truly connect with me, couples who value the relationship as much as the photos. That’s always been the heartbeat for me, real people, real connection, honest stories.

For a long time, I hesitated to step fully into the education space because I didn’t want to create just another program or toss out recycled strategies. I wanted to build something different, something that feels like a real conversation, a safe place to grow, and a community where photographers can genuinely connect and build businesses that feel good.

I’ve had the honor of speaking on big stages, leading workshops, mentoring photographers, working with the coolest brands and co-hosting The Photographic Collective Podcast. This is about building something that lasts, rooted in connection, sustainability, and the kind of work that actually fills your soul.

JARED MARK FINCHER

Who the heck is Jared?

Glad you asked—because Jared isn’t just part of the team… he’s the heartbeat behind so much of what we do here. He’s a photographer, a filmmaker, a musician, and honestly, one of the smartest creative minds I know. You’ve probably already seen his work all over this platform, on our social feeds, and throughout the PhotoCo experience—even if you didn’t know it was him.

Jared isn’t just behind the scenes, he’s a key voice and a true expert in his own right. From leading course content, to walking you through wedding workflows, to co-hosting our podcast, Jared brings years of hands-on experience, thoughtful perspective, and a creative edge that has shaped not just PhotoCo, but my own business and life

The problem with MOST EDUCATION out there?

Listen, I’ll just say it straight, I care about you building a business that actually puts money in your bank account. I’m not here to help you chase trends or become instagram-famous. I care about what lasts. I care about helping you build something sustainable, something meaningful, something that gives you freedom.

Inside Photographic Collective, we’re not just teaching skills, we’re reshaping the way you think about your work, your value, your story. This is about community, real education, and the kind of mindset shift that can genuinely change the way you see your business.

If I could, I’d have you right here at my kitchen island, both of us laptops out, walking you through it step by step. But since we’re doing this in a space where you can go at your own pace, I get to make this more accessible, something you can jump into without a second thought.

We’ve built this to work for you, not just in theory, but in the real world, where your hard work turns into momentum that keeps working for you. That’s the kind of growth we’re after.

  • The best thing is the community of like-minded photographers he’s built up. No one here thinks they’re better than the next. They’re just all in it for each other and their clients.

    Derek Couts

  • This isn’t just a job for you, it’s not about the money or the clout. You truly embrace these “strangers” until they are, essentially, your chosen family. I think there’s a lesson in that for all of us

    Reese Oliver

  • This is the only group where I get filled on an emotional level. Yes, there's the usual tech and gear talk, but everyone in here truly cares about their clients and wants to make sure they're giving them the best value and the best of themselves

  • This industry is loud. You walk into a room and there are 70 people screaming, “Hey change everything about yourself, run your business like mine and you’ll be successful!!!”. And then, in the corner, surrounded by a few close friends, you’ll find Miles. “Hey, come sit with us, you don’t have to change a thing. You are right where you belong”.

    Ali Miller

What is coming down the pipeline for photoco

If you’re looking for a blueprint…

This isn’t it.

This industry is loud.

There will always be another voice telling you what to charge, what to post, what to sell, how to shoot, and who you need to become in order to succeed.

PhotoCo gives you a place to step outside of that noise.

A place to strengthen your point of view. A place to create meaningful relationships. A place to make decisions that support both your business and your life. A place to build something that is not only profitable, but personal, sustainable, and capable of lasting.

If you are ready for education that changes how you see your work, not simply what you do next, welcome to PhotoCo.

This is where photographers come to think differently, connect deeply, and build a legacy that lasts.
