Fayetteville Arkansas Wedding at Carnall Hall

Love doesn’t make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.
— Jones, Franklin P.

Shooting at Carnall Hall on the campus of the University of Arkansas is a remarkably classic experience. The big beautiful white pillars in front of the grand entrance, the large staircases on either side of the lobby, and the sprawling lawn of Old Main behind you. The only thing this venue is missing is a classicly beautiful bride in a lace gown, a sweet tea, and some country music on in the background. Enter Ashley : except swap the sweet tea for a shot of tequila and the country music for the sound of a bunch of girls cheering while Kyle kisses her (like he means it). I shot this one alone while the rest of our team was spread out at other weddings which is rare these days but always drives me to feel more creative. These two were a blast from the very moment I walked in. Met at the door with hugs and high fives I couldn’t wait to see it all come together and now that I am, I have to say I’m pretty proud of these shots. Ashley is a blast to be around. A big laugh, and a bit sarcastic I was wondering what Kyle would be like when these got around each other and he totally holds his own with her. He’s quick, dry, and hilarious but still somehow really gentle with her. The no peeking session with them was pretty intense, the sunset session was beautiful, but somehow the ceremony was actually my favorite part (not sure I’ve ever said that before). I’m so excited for them to relive these moments along side a few pretty incredible friends who took me in like family right off the bat!
