Luciana and Liam, 3 Easy Steps to better Engagement Photos, NYC
Every engagement photography sessions brings it’s own opportunities which is why after hundreds of these things I’ve whittled down a few steps to making sure that each one is set up to be the best I can make it. This session in Brooklyn and Manhattan featured a few of the most iconic views of NYC with two of my favorite friends on the other side of the lens. From the right locations and light, to allowing experiences and memories to be a part of the moments we capture here’s the story of Luciana and Liam.

This session was an absolute dream, only it was a very short one. We had a few hiccups getting to these beautiful bluffs but the truth is there’s no overlook at sunset quick like an Arkansas overlook and it all came together. A few of the most beautiful photos from the edge of the world along side 2 (3) of the most beautiful clients I have.

Laurin and Jose, Osage House Covid Remix Wedding
It was the dream wedding they had been planning for ages, only - they were already married. Laurin + Jose’s wedding ceremony and reception was a total remix on the traditional wedding but after a year of pandemics and quarantines and unknown they just couldn’t wait to be married. Their elopement was unbelievable but they held off on the party until they could do it right and this is that story.

Carly and Blake, Arkansas Wedding Photography, Five Tips for staying present.
An elegant, simple wedding filled with so many beautiful little details. Carly and Blake’s wedding out at Stone Chapel at Matt Lane Farms was one of my favorites in awhile. I love these little Northwest Arkansas weddings so much and how much intentionality goes into each one. I’ve included five tips for keeping present and making sure that as a wedding photographer I’m always prioritizing being present over the pressure of being perfect.

When two of the most sincerely kind people I’ve ever met get married at one of the most beautiful venues with a dream wedding designed by a few of the most talented wedding planners I know. Brittany and Sam’s wedding was pure magic at the Osage House in Northwest Arkansas with florals by Samantha’s Garden and design and planning done by Stephanie from Amanda Reed Weddings.

Everything small town downtown. This engagement session wandering around the Bentonville, Arkansas square was a perfect break for me from some of the big dramatic destinations. Two beautiful people so absolutely in love just spending an afternoon in a place they call home. Meet Ashley + Kris, two of the most beautiful people I’ve ever been asked to photograph.

Arkansas Overlook Elopement Photography, Laura + Stafford
Covid changed everything but not necessarily for the worse. This elopement at an incredible overlook south of Fayetteville Arkansas was the result of a change of perspective. Laura + Stafford decided what they wanted was something with more intimacy, more intentionality, more memories and this wedding reimagined and the photography of it was a perfect example of why I love couples like this so much.

There is so much depth to the story of this shoot. Caroline and Sam are both such amazing people and their connection is so beautiful but what stood out was how they reacted when the rain came. There’s a cool backstory, some very steamy photos, and so much magic to check out in this session.

Five Tips for Winery Weddings / Sassafras Springs
There’s a few thing’s to remember when planning a winery wedding but the good absolutely outweighs the bad. For all the places we get to shoot a wedding in a vineyard is one of my very favorites and one of the coolest little wineries we’ve shot at is just down the Road. This real wedding of Cassandra and Blake was at Sassafras Springs and was a perfect example of why we love this spot so much.

We just sort of escaped for a little bit. Away from the traffic of Bentonville, the familiar overlooks in Bella Vista, the architecture in Fayetteville. This engagement session was about emotion, light, love and Fairlane Station tucked in old downtown Springdale was a perfect escape. Madelyn and Bayley are so cozy together and the story of how I got to know Madelyn is a really cool one. Excited to share these photos and introduce these two beautiful people.
