Arkansas Wedding Photographer

Timeless, Cinematic, Human Wedding Photography Across Northwest Arkansas and Beyond

I’ve spent more than a decade watching Arkansas weddings quietly become some of the most beautiful celebrations anywhere in the country. Crystal Bridges. Osage House. The Grand at Willow Springs. St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable. Private estates. Art museums. Mountain overlooks. Modern spaces. Historic chapels. Families flying in from all over just to be part of it.

And after hundreds of weddings across this region, one truth keeps showing up:

Arkansas isn’t an “up-and-coming” wedding destination anymore.
It is the destination.

Arkansas Wedding Photographers

I’m Miles and this is my buddy Jared.

I’m a dad, husband to an awesome wife, Imagen, Pic-time, and Fujifilm Global Ambassador, photographer, creative director, educator, and founder of PHOTOCO.

And for the last 10 years, I’ve photographed weddings around the world with my best friend, collaborator, and creative partner, Jared.

He’s not a “second shooter.” He’s not extra coverage.
He is a completely different way of seeing the moment.

Where I follow the light, he follows the emotion.
Where I’m documenting the couple, he’s capturing the reactions.
Where I’m watching a father walk his daughter down the aisle, he’s seeing the groom’s hands shake at the altar.

Together, we’ve photographed weddings in Arkansas, New York, Cabo, California, New England, and across the South.
When you hire us, you don’t get two random photographers
you get a decade-deep creative rhythm and two artists with complementary instincts.

This page is designed to be your complete guide, part inspiration, part planning resource, part honest philosophy, and part “here’s why this matters so much.”

Our Philosophy — The Heart of How We Work

If you read only one blog post, read this:
15 Years As a Wedding Photographer

But here’s the truth at the center of everything:

Weddings aren’t performances.
They’re not staged productions.
They’re not photo shoots.

They’re human stories unfolding in real time.

Our job is not to interrupt your moments — it’s to elevate them.

We believe:

  • Your photos should feel like you

  • Color should be cinematic, not trendy

  • Great photography is built on trust

  • The real moments matter more than perfect ones

  • Two perspectives reveal twice the emotional depth

And honestly, having Jared beside me all these years has shaped this philosophy.
We see differently — and that difference is what makes the galleries feel whole.

What It’s Like to Work With Us

Most couples tell us the same thing:

“It felt like having two friends with cameras — not a production crew.”

Because here’s the truth:

  1. Comfort creates authenticity.

  2. Trust creates honest images.

  3. Presence creates memories you can actually feel again.

When you hire us:

  • You get two photographers who move intuitively as one team

  • You get real-time dual coverage of parallel moments

  • You get both stills and cinematic video options

  • You get direction that feels natural

  • You get a calming presence even in the chaos

  • You get candid images that feel alive, not staged

And your photos won’t just look beautiful —
they’ll feel like your memories.

As Heard on The Photographic Collective Podcast

A few quotes that sum up everything we believe about wedding days:

“The most powerful moments are the ones nobody staged.”

“Two perspectives don’t double your coverage. They double your connection to the story.”

“Weddings are one of the last sacred gatherings left — everyone you love in one place at the same time.”

My Story

Who I Am — and Why This Still Matters to Me After 15 Years

I’m Miles — husband to Melissa, dad to two incredible kids, IMAGEN, PIC-TIME, and FUJIFILM Global Ambassador, creative educator, and founder of PHOTOCO.

I’ve photographed more than 500 weddings around the world, but Arkansas has always been home. The landscapes, the light, the architecture, the creative energy — it’s magic.

And for the past decade, I haven’t done this alone.
Jared has been beside me at nearly every wedding, every flight, every sunrise, every chaotic behind-the-scenes moment.
He’s my best friend. He’s an unbelievable photographer and filmmaker.
And the work is better because we’re doing it together.

Weddings are rare moments where everyone you love is in the same place at the same time.

That’s why this job still matters to me.
That’s why I keep showing up with everything I have.
That’s why your story deserves to be documented with care, honesty, and intention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you photograph weddings all over Arkansas or just Northwest Arkansas?

Absolutely. While most of our weddings happen in Bentonville, Fayetteville, Rogers, and Springdale — especially at venues like Crystal Bridges, Osage House, and The Grand at Willow Springs — we regularly photograph weddings across the entire state. If it’s in Arkansas, we’ve probably been there… and if not, we’d love to explore it with you.

Do we get both you and Jared on our wedding day?

Most of our full wedding collections include both of us. We’ve been shooting together for more than a decade, and that rhythm creates a really special dynamic that you can feel in the final gallery. Smaller weekday events or elopements can be customized depending on your date and needs, but for the majority of weddings, you’ll have both of us there documenting the story with two totally different perspectives.

Do you offer wedding video as well as photography?

Yes! Because of Jared’s filmmaking background, we offer cinematic wedding films that feel like an extension of the photography instead of a separate production team. The photos and videos are created to feel cohesive, intentional, and emotional.

How far in advance should we book you?

Most couples reach out 9–18 months before their wedding date, especially for peak seasons or popular Arkansas venues. We take on a limited number of weddings each year to protect the experience and the artwork, so if you already have a date or even just a season in mind, now is the perfect time to inquire.

What do your wedding photography collections include?

Collections are tailored to your day, but most include full wedding coverage, a two-photographer team with Miles and Jared, high-resolution images in an online gallery, printing rights, and options for engagement sessions, bridal sessions, rehearsal dinner coverage, cinematic wedding films, and custom heirloom albums. We’ll walk you through everything and build exactly what you need.

Do you help with timelines, venues, and planning details?

Absolutely. We’re heavily involved in helping you build a timeline that protects the best moments of your day instead of rushing through them. We also love helping couples choose the right venue — many hire us right before or right after their venue search because they want our insight into light, logistics, and how everything will photograph.
